Brunch on Andrássy Avenue

Breakfast, lunch or early dinner?
At Csók, brunch and patisserie live under one roof. On one side you'll find four kinds of Eggs Benedict, lángos, a savoury creamy pancake tower and bistro platters; on the other, award-winning cakes made in our own pastry kitchen.
We are just a two-minute walk from the Bajza utca metro stop, in the same building as the HAB art center, next to the City Park.
We are open six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays), and have a 4.8-star average on Google from over 1,750 reviews.
If someone asks where to have a good breakfast or lunch on Andrássy Avenue, we want to be the first answer to this question. 😘

Four types of Eggs Benedict,
the real morning dilemma
Poached eggs are our first serious decision of the day. You can choose from four types of Eggs Benedict, each of which is brought together by our own silky, signature hollandaise sauce:
-
“Csók” Benedict: Serrano ham, the classic choice.
-
“Csók” Royale: Smoked salmon, if that’s what you’re feeling.
-
Extra Florentine: Baby spinach and avocado, a vegetarian favorite.
-
“Csók” Special: Toasted bacon and red onion jam.
If you can't decide, the Brunch Plate brings you all four versions at once on a buttery croissant, with a farm egg and brown butter hollandaise sauce. Perfect for a group of friends to enjoy.

What else is on the table?
Brunch doesn't stop at eggs at our place. You can also choose from:
-
Sourdough avocado toast: Crispy bread and fresh toppings.
-
Pinsa: Made with light, airy dough, much more delicious than the usual pizza.
-
Salads if you're craving something fresher or lighter.
-
Assortment platters: The Brunch Platter (with four types of Benedict) and the Burger Platter (with six juicy mini beef burgers and crispy fries) are brilliant partners for small group celebrations.
And with it, there's freshly roasted coffee and, of course, something sweet, because in the end, we're going to end up here anyway.

A confectionery we are proud of
Csók is not just a simple brunch place. Our own pastry offerings are reason enough to come and sit with us:
Award-winning pastries: Crispy, airy classics and exciting, reimagined desserts.
Rigó Jancsi: One of the greatest legends of Hungarian confectionery, in a true "Csókos" version.
Dobós Kocka: This is not just a dessert, but a little game. Order it with your coffee or brunch, and if you roll a six with the pink dice at checkout, we'll cover your entire purchase. Maybe today is your lucky day!
Macarons and homemade ice cream: Light, cooling treats that go with any time of day.
Freshly baked croissant: Buttery, flaky, simply perfect to start your morning.
We make our cakes on site. That's why we proudly say that Csók can be your favorite brunch spot and your favorite pastry shop at the same time!

Terrace, family, quiet mornings
Our terrace in front of number 112 is bathed in sunshine most of the day, and large canvas umbrellas provide cool shade. We have prepared wide tables and children's chairs, so you can come to us with a baby or older child without any worries. (If you come with a stroller, the reception will be happy to help you get in, because the bistro is not directly at street level.)
Many people come to us for brunch after a pleasant walk in the city park or after seeing the latest exhibition at HAB, while others just pop in for a quick coffee and cookie combination.
Whether you're coming in to work in the morning or spending a leisurely afternoon on the terrace with your partner,
we have the perfect environment for it
